 Becoming a Vendor

If you are a new or returning non-food vendor, just print out our revised form and fill it out.  Check all the appropriate boxes that apply to you. Attach your check in the appropriate amount and drop it in the mail to our Palisade Post Office Box 1105.   Be sure to give us your Colorado Sales Tax License Number if it applies to your business.

NOTE: If you have a Town of Palisade vendor license, just fill in your number.  If you DO NOT have a license with the town, just mark that box and include a fee of $10 in the amount of your check to the PIHF and we will remit the payment for you.  See the letter below.

Dear Vendors,

According to Palisade Town Ordinance, vendors must pay a $10 business license fee for every event in which a vendor participates in the Town of Palisade. If a vendor participates in five or more events, they can purchase an annual business license for $50 that will cover all events throughout the calendar year. Examples of Palisade events (that require a $10 fee each) include the Palisade Sunday Farmers Market (1 $10 fee for 16 weeks), Palisade International Honeybee Festival, Palisade Peach Festival, and Colorado Mountain Winefest, etc.

For more information, contact Palisade Sunday Farmers Market Coordinator Michelle Gossage or Town employees at (970) 464-5602.

FOOD VENDORS

If you are a FOOD VENDOR, you will need to complete the Food Vendor Qualification Packet and send it to the City of Grand Junction Parks & Recreation Department, which has graciously volunteered to be the Clearing House for all Mesa County municipalities.   Once you are approved, your company name will be posted on the GJ Parks & Recreation website as being a qualified vendor.  You will NOT have to repeat the process for any other local events in which you participate.

This move is to simplify and standardize the process for all food vendors who wish to participate in the county.

If you are a new or returning food vendor, just print out our revised form and fill it out checking all the appropriate boxes that apply to you. Attach your check in the appropriate amount and  drop it in the mail to our Palisade Post Office Box 1105

You will submit copies of  all state, county and local licenses in the permitting process with GJ Parks & Recreation Department, so we will not need those documents for Food Vendors.

NOTE: If you have a Town of Palisade vendor license, just fill in your number. If you DO NOT have a license with the town,  just mark that box and include a fee of $10 in the amount of your check to the PIHF and we will remit the payment for you.
